Mr. Cook

It was almost dinner time when you left me, “are you hungry?” I asked, “what do you want to eat?”, “I’m full” you said “I’m leaving”, “let the door open” I replied, “it’s cold outside” you hesitated, “I need fresh air, I’ll close it later” I almost shouted and I forgot it open not for a day or two, but for many many days and one day

Mr. Meat came in, he said he was in a hurry, “are you hungry?”, I asked, “what do you want to eat?”, he said he liked meat and I cooked some meat, I made the table and I let him wait, “I’m hungry” he finally complained, and I gave him his plate, “it’s very little” he said, “it’s to keep you hungry” I replied and he ate, and he was still in a hurry, “it was alright” he said, “but I’ve had better” and my eyes sparkled and I flew in the kitchen and I cooked again and again, and it was great, it was awesome, I had found what I liked, it was all so alive, I learned and invented new recipes, and I mastered cooking meat and Mr. Meat became more and more satisfied, and the moment he decided to stay I realized something was missing, oh something was missing, “it’s not meat, the food that I like”, but what could it be, “what do I really, really like”, I asked myself and

Mr. Fish came in, he said he was in a hurry, “are you hungry?”, I asked, “what do you want to eat?”, “do you have fish?” he asked back, “But I’m a master in cooking meat” I replied, but he said he doesn’t eat meat because “fish is nicer, fish is healthier, fish is more delicate”, and I said “yes yes, maybe you’re right, meat is unhealthy, meat stinks, meat is fatty”, and I made the table and I cooked some fish and I let him wait, “I’m hungry” he finally complained and I gave him his plate, “it’s very little” he said, “it’s to keep you hungry” I replied and he ate it, and he was still in a hurry, “it is alright” he said, “but I’ve had better” and my eyes sparkled and I flew into the kitchen and I cooked, again and again, and it was great, it was awesome, I had found what I liked, it was all so alive, I learned and invented new recipes, I mastered cooking fish and Mr. Fish became more and more satisfied, and the moment he decided to stay I realized something was missing, oh something was missing, “it’s not fish, the food that I like”, but what could it be, “what do I really, really like”, I asked myself and

Mr. Vegetables came in, he said he was in a hurry, “are you hungry?”, I asked, “what do you want to eat?”, “I don’t eat meat” he said, “I am a master in cooking fish” I replied, “fish is meat to me” he preached, cause “it’s unethical, it’s environmentally unfriendly, it’s also unhealthy”, and I said “yes yes, maybe you’re right, fish is gross, fish is meat, eating fish is disgusting”, and I made the table and I cooked some vegan dish and I let him wait, “I’m hungry” he finally complained and I gave him his plate, “it’s very little” he said, “it’s to keep you hungry” I replied and he ate, and he was still in a hurry, “it is alright” he said, “but I’ve had better” and my eyes sparkled and I flied into the kitchen and I cooked, again and again, and it was great, it was awesome, I had found what I liked, it was all so alive, I learned and invented new recipes, I mastered cooking vegetables and Mr. Vegetables became more and more satisfied, and the moment he decided to stay I realized something was missing, oh something was missing, “it’s not vegetables, the food that I like”, but what could it be, “what do I really, really like”, I asked myself and
